With the overwhelming success of the last year's "All black" issue of Italian folk. The magazine has decideduse a similar formula this year. In commemoration for pop icon, Barbie's 50th anniversary, this year's July issue of Italian Vogue includes an insert mini-mag, with spreads featuring black barbies. This could easily get an eye roll, however the Barbies aren't just a tanned version of Caucasian Barbie, but come with varying hair textures, and facial features, recognizing the beautiful diversity of black women, and earning the mag a pat on the back.
