Instead of checking out another gossip blog (that's basically just rehashing the same ol' story as all the others) while pretending to work, head over to www.freerice.com. This site, which has been up since October, donates 20 grains of rice to the less fortunate for every vocabulary word you get correctly. The words range from easy (stylish) to really fucking hard (had no idea that 'sputum' meant 'phlegm'--gross) and you get to fill your brain while knowing you're helping to fill someone's stomach.
