We first saw Beyond Belief perform at the Bowery Poetry Club when he was still in high school; it was a trip knowing the guy singing the fierce and witty rhymes in front of us was still living life by the sound of the dismissal bell. All that shit's no longer an issue, and as he's grown, his style and talent has, too. He raps over intros to Who songs, over Queen's "Under Pressure" and beat boxing. BOB's got a fast, breathless delivery to match the strength of his words, and he's better live than he is on CD (or mp3), which is rare. He just shot a video for "Don't Touch" in his hometown of Rockaway, Queens, and is continuing to work with producer Kwame on his album and mix tapes.
